Charge+ announces the largest EV Charging Cluster in Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Exciting news from Charge+! The Largest EV Charging Cluster in Iskandar Puteri, Johor is now at Teega development at Puteri Harbour! We are honoured to have Teega Chairman Mr. Sukhjeet Singh, Secretary Mr. Jeff Saw, and Building Manager Mr. David Lim, join forces with our CEO, Mr. Goh Chee Kiong, to commemorate another significant milestone for Charge+.
With a total of 10 EV charging bays, including 2 DC charging points, in this charging hub, we aim to provide convenience for residents and visitors alike, including EV drivers from neighboring Singapore. Travelling cross border has never been more effortless!
Charge+ has also unveiled its charging station roadmap for Johor, with the goal of investing in 800 EV charging points just in Johor by 2030. We will focus on developing two major charging clusters around Johor Bahru and Iskandar Puteri as well as build secondary charging clusters around Yong Peng, Skudai, Pasir Gudang and Desaru, to ensure a well-connected charging network for longer-distance travel. This network will ride on the expected growth arising from the strong collaboration between Johor and Singapore through the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
