CHARGE+ announces partnership with Tenaga Nasional Berhad

Charge+ is pleased to announce our partnership with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, the national utility company of Malaysia to undertake roaming in EV charging in a ceremony witnessed by Malaysian Minister for Transport Anthony Loke. When implemented in early 2024, EV driver customers of both parties will be able to access the EV chargers of the other party, thereby providing a more convenient cross-border charging experience.

TNB Electron is building a string of DC charging stations along the North-South Highway and therefore this partnership will boost Charge+'s ongoing plan to develop a 5,000km EV charging highway across five countries in Southeast Asia that include Malaysia and Singapore. This announcement follows on the heels of the recent roaming partnerships between Charge+ and key utilities in the region that include EGAT of Thailand and PLN of Indonesia.
